Stick It Up is a publication of a collection of stickers found in the
City of Melbourne that shows the small
acts of vandalism, rebellion,
and how people leave their mark on
the ever-changing landscape of
the urban environment.

The project focuses on how people leave their mark, temporary design, mark marking, the seen and unseen, and the small acts of rebellion that fill laneways like graffiti.

‘Life of the Party’, Olivia Gatwood

Upon initial glance of the cover, the audience can see the title and laugh
(a little grimly) at the irony of the words ‘Life of the Party’ hovering above a dying rose. Let the rose represent the girl who is, “silent and dead and still the

Around the world, transgender and
gender diverse people are marginalized, stigmatized, and often criminalized. Because of this, members of the community are at an increased risk of violence by strangers, partners, family members,
and law enforcement.

This project aims to draw awareness to the issue of gender-based violence against the transgender and gender diverse community, and to depict the lives and stories of the hundreds of people from the community who are victims of violence every year.
